| Abstract: |
This professional learning community will be a resource for teacher education faculty working to learn and implement a new online support system for the collection and evaluation of performance data for teacher candidates. The system, TK20, was designed to provide assistance in meeting the six standards of accreditation mandated by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). Through learning community activities, members will increase their proficiency in using the system while gaining knowledge of how the use of the electronic portfolio can enhance student learning in the teacher education program.

The major goals are
| Resources Created: Shared Statewide |
The sharable digital resources created include program and unit-wide key assessments and student performance portfolios that can serve as models for the rest of the university community. The primary audience for the resources created through this project will be the teacher candidates at SSU. However, faculty within this department will exchange with each other ideas and assessments related to this project, and that exchange will undoubtedly expand to include faculty within the College of Arts and Sciences as well. Currently some of our Health Sciences programs are interested in using TK20 as a tool for their students, and the TK20 Educators would share their knowledge and experiences university wide.
